The Dożynki Committee has invited the Adelaide community to the Polish Harvest Festival on Sunday the 23rd of October 2016. This year’s event also celebrated the 160th Anniversary of the Polish Settlement in the Clare Valley and 1050th Anniversary of Baptism of Poland.

Guenter Pratz – Vice Chairman of the German European Chamber of Commerce SA has joined the festivities with his family. He has enjoyed a Polish beer and a ‘Kransky’ sausage for lunch in the beer tent and the entertainment on offer.

This year Sammy & Bella, winners of My Kitchen Rules, have again showcased the best of Polish Cuisine in the food tent.
There have been plenty of children’s activities including an animal farm, Police cars, carnival amusements, free balloons, a puppet show and puppet making classes.

The local Polish Folk Dance Group ‘Tatry’ has entertained the crowd of over 3,000 visitors. They have been joined by ‘Wisła’ dance group from Brisbane.
